Huntington Beach is a seaside city in Orange County in southern California. It is known for its long 8.5-mile (13.7 km) beach, mild climate, and excellent surfing. John Wayne, Long Beach, and Los Angeles International Airports are located nearby. Huntington Beach boasts the largest unspoiled coastal wetlands in California, Bolsa Chica Wetlands, where many migratory birds stop and nest.

Visit the Huntington Beach Pier, one of the longest concrete piers in the world. Main Street is a shopping and gathering place, with sidewalk cafes, surf shops and live music. Walk, bike or run on the eight mile Huntington Beach Bike Path. There are a number of restaurants on Main street.

California's Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland are about 15 miles from Huntington Beach.
